Christine Pieroth has been farming her family’s Nahe vines organically since she launched Piri Naturel — using only wild yeasts, no fining, no filtration. The Weißburgunder comes from slate-soil parcels with vines between 35 and 60 years old, harvested by hand in multiple passes. The 2023 splits the approach: part direct-pressed for crispness, part carbonic maceration for a soft, fruity lift. Finished in old oak on full lees until bottling. 11% alcohol — light, effortless, and made for easy pouring.
