100% Blaufränkisch, 80% destemmed, fermented on skins for three weeks before pressing into neutral oak barrels where it spends a year on fine lees with completed malolactic fermentation. The decision to blend 2023 and 2024 was deliberate — each vintage brought something different, and together they found a balance neither could achieve alone. The NV designation is worn honestly here: this is about the wine, not the year.
Tasting Notes
Aroma: dark cherry, red plum, dried herbs, subtle earthy note
Palate: concentrated dark fruit, firm but fine tannins, bright acidity
Texture: structured, layered, with depth from the long maceration and lees ageing
